Server Rules

These rules apply to all players and cover general conduct within the community.

• Respect everyone—no sexism, racism, or bigotry allowed.
• Minimum age to apply: 18+.
• A functional, good-quality microphone is required.
• Primary language is English; you must be able to communicate meaningfully.
• Prohibited content: suicide/self-harm RP, pregnancy RP, rape RP, terrorism RP.
• Avoid real-world sensitive topics (religion, politics, etc).
• Toxicity of any kind is prohibited, including OOC trash talk.
• Disengage or finish RP before reporting rule breaks.
• Character names must be authentic (first + last name), no offensive/celebrity/common names.

Our zero-tolerance policy on harassment and threats, both in-character and out-of-character.

• Zero-tolerance policy on harassment, IC or OOC.
• No OOC threats or attempts to force IC into OOC.
• Slurs and discrimination of any kind are not allowed, even in character.

Rules regarding griefing and camping specific locations.

• No camping locations like apartments, hospitals, or heist spots.
• Do not camp downed bodies—allow EMS and PD to respond.
• Rooftop shootouts are prohibited. Shootouts must be on ground level at all times to prevent powering gaming locations. If criminals take PD to a rooftop shooting, expect PD to make an 'ALL CALL' for all units to respond.

Guidelines for using out-of-character chat.

• No OOC messages about in-game events.
• No OOC frustration or harassment based on IC events.

Rules concerning the use of third-party software and external communication.

• No cheats, mods, or external comms (e.g., Discord RP).
• All communication must use in-city radios and phones.
• Modifying files for advantage = permanent ban.

Rules to prevent character farming and maintain fair play.

• No transferring items/money/vehicles between your own characters.
• You cannot have two characters in the same/different gangs.
• PD/DOJ/EMS can be cousins but must avoid conflict of interest.
• No character bleeding or metagaming between alts.

Rules against exploiting bugs or glitches.

• Do not use or share bugs for advantage.
• Report bugs immediately—don’t exploit them.
• Exploits include: money glitches, infinite loops, client dumps, etc.

Fundamental rules for maintaining a high-quality roleplay environment.

• Stay in character at all times.
• Allowed forced RP only when consent is given and proper RP is followed.
• Gang 'blood in/blood out' RP must have OOC consent and follow protocol.

Guidelines to ensure respectful and consensual roleplay interactions.

• Avoid disturbing/graphic RP without prior OOC consent.
• Respect player comfort—no sexual harassment IC or OOC.
• No forcing people to 'see the light' to skip consequences.
• Goal is fun, not discomfort.

Specific rules for engaging in erotic roleplay.

• All participants must be 18+ and give explicit OOC consent.
• Keep exotic roleplay in private areas—not in public view.

Strict prohibition on sensitive roleplay topics.

• Suicide and Terrorism RP is completely prohibited due to the sensitivity of the topic.

Rules regarding designated safe zones and their usage.

• Only official events listed in the Events channel are green zones.
• 30 mins before/after storm are cooldowns for crime.
• Do not abuse green zones to escape RP.
• Running into a green zone to hide or start conflict will result in a ban.
• Although the Hospital isn't considered a 'Green Zone,' it is frowned upon to commit a crime where medical personnel work.

Policies on character permadeath and faking death.

• Perma-death is allowed and permanent.
• Fake deaths require ticket and staff approval.

Requirements for microphone usage and push-to-talk.

• Mic must be functional and clear.
• Push-to-talk must be enabled in voice chat.

Your responsibility for your account's actions.

• You are responsible for whoever uses your account.
• Rule violations apply to the account owner.

Rules against Random Deathmatch (RDM).

• Violence without roleplay is not allowed. Must issue a clear demand or build RP tension.

Rules against Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM).

• Do not use vehicles as weapons without valid RP. No ramming over 100mph.

Rules against logging out to avoid roleplay or consequences.

• Do not log out to avoid RP or arrest. Crashes must be justifiable.

Understanding and avoiding 'Fail RP'.

• Examples: breaking character, acting fine after injury, OOC talking, unrealistic behavior.
• Downed players must RP injury realistically. No phones/radio when downed.

The New Life Rule (NLR) and its implications after character death.

• Upon respawn, forget events leading to death 30 minutes prior.
• Must wait for EMS/police if told they are en route.
• 15-minute cooldown for hostile RP after downing.

Rules on valuing your character's life (NVL).

• Players must value their character’s life at all times. When faced with a situation where your life is threatened (e.g., a gun pointed at you), you must act as though you want to preserve your life and comply unless you have a clear, realistic opportunity to escape or fight back.

Rules against using out-of-character information in-game.

• Metagaming is strictly prohibited. Players must not use any OOC information to influence their character’s IC actions. This includes, but is not limited to, information gained from external communications (Discord, Twitch, forums) or in-game OOC chat. Any knowledge used in character must be acquired through direct roleplay interactions.

Rules against abusing game mechanics or ignoring realism.

• Powergaming is strictly prohibited. Players must not perform unrealistic actions or force outcomes on other players without giving them the opportunity to respond. All actions should remain within the boundaries of what is realistically possible for your character and the in-game environment.

Guidelines for identifying other players in roleplay scenarios.

• IDs based on appearance only (clothes, tattoos, etc).
• Voice alone is not a valid identifier.
• Cover yourself when committing crimes.

Rules about job and heist limitations in police and criminal roleplay.

• 2 PD for 1 crim on jobs/shootouts.
• 2–4 PD units for store robberies and basic bank robberies.
• Major heists can involve up to 6 PD units.
• Players cannot return to or camp cleared crime scenes.
• Do not bait cops/crims into interactions; all RP must be serious and realistic.

Rules of illegal bragging and informing in police and criminal roleplay.

• Do not advertise drugs or illegal behavior on in-game socials.
• Never post illegal locations publicly—players must RP discovering them.

Rules about corruption in police and criminal roleplay.

• Corrupt EMS/Police/Lawyers are forbidden without prior ticket approval.
• Using government resources (stash, armory, etc.) for gain is bannable and you will be blacklisted from bringing another character into ANY whitelist role.

Rules about robbing players in police and criminal roleplay.

• You may rob players via RP or /rob command. No item/money cap, but keep in mind that robbing a player of their food is petty.
• Cops can be robbed, but keep in mind your actions when robbing cops. The consequences will be harsh if you are arrested with police issued equipment. If this rule is abused, robbing cops will be off limits for everyone.
• EMS, Fire, and Doctors are NOT allowed to be robbed. Doing so will result in a complete pocket wipe.
• Cannot force victims to transfer vehicle ownership.
• Cannot force ATM withdrawals without OOC permission.
• Cannot force property sales (houses, vehicles, businesses).

Rules about fear of police & gangs in police and criminal roleplay.

• Respect law enforcement realistically.
• Do not involve unrelated groups to free captured gang/organization members.
• Cop/gang baiting (reckless driving, forced chases) is not allowed.

Rules about solo robbing in police and criminal roleplay.

• Avoid robbing banks/jewelry without hostages.
• “Smash and Grab” robberies with no RP are not allowed.

Rules pertaining to chain robberies in police and criminal roleplay.

• Wait at least 1 hour between robberies.
• Avoid repeating the same robbery method or location.
• Stay at robbery scene for at least 7 minutes to allow for RP.

Rules pertaining to hostage taking in police and criminal roleplay.

• Taking cops as hostages should be a last resort.
• Only 1 demand per hostage.
• Avoid targeting businesses for hostages; it harms server economy.
• No exchanging hostages for money or prisoners.
• Fake hostages are not allowed—must be visible to police.

Rules pertaining to vehicle rules in police and criminal roleplay.

• Driving whitelisted vehicles such as PD, EMS, and Fire vehicles is prohibited. If caught, it will result in a punishment.

Rules pertaining to graffiti in police and criminal roleplay.

• Do not graffiti government buildings (PD, Hospital, etc.).
• No offensive content (racism, slurs).
• Be creative, not abusive—abuse may result in removal.

Rules pertaining to gang war rules in police and criminal roleplay.

• Only gang leaders may initiate wars.
• Gang shootouts: 6v6 off block; 6v whole block if one side pushes one gang's 'block'. 15–30 min fight time.
• Too many complaint tickets may result in admin intervention.

Rules pertaining to gang numbers in police and criminal roleplay.

• Approved gangs can have up to 20 members.
• Unapproved gangs must apply after 6 active members & two weeks of activity.

Rules pertaining to gang hopping in police and criminal roleplay.

• Gang switching is not allowed.
• 14-day cooldown required after leaving a gang.
• No alts in other gangs to avoid character bleed.

Rules pertaining to body camping in police and criminal roleplay.

• No camping or emoting over downed players.
• Move on after conflict ends—do not provoke reactions from the dead.
• 'Body Dumping' is allowed with extended roleplay to explain why the player shouldn't remember anything. Keep in mind once you respawn at the hospital, you have to abide by the 30-minute rule.

Rules pertaining to 100K or die mentality in police and criminal roleplay.

• This is a serious RP server, not a 100K or Die server.
• No low-effort, shoot-first roleplay. Quality interactions only.
• Toxic behavior will be punished harshly.

Rules pertaining to messaging staff in police and criminal roleplay.

• Never DM staff. Open a ticket instead. Bans can be issued if warranted.

Rules pertaining to appeals in police and criminal roleplay.

• Appeal via Discord ticket with context, names, and times included.

Rules pertaining to account responsibility in police and criminal roleplay.

• You're responsible for anything done on your account.
• Hacking, modding, or rule-breaking = permanent consequences.

Rules pertaining to following staff instructions in police and criminal roleplay.

• Staff decisions are final.
• Use appeals/reports respectfully if you disagree.

Rules pertaining to consequences in police and criminal roleplay.

• Violations may result in:

• - Temporary/Permanent Bans
• - Character Wipes
• - Community Blacklisting
